Over her years of stewarding IEA horse shows, Amanda has fielded many questions from IEA riders and their parents about the IEA and how it works.
So she decided to sit down and write a manual expaining the inner workings of the IEA in language that any new rider and/or non-horse parent can understand.
The result was "A Parent's Guide to the Interscholastic Equestrian Association."
Paperback and ebook versions are available at Amazon.com or you can order directly from Amanda. Just contact us through this website and we'll get a copy out to you right away!
From Amazon.com:
The horse draw, warm-up jumps, re-rides, what to wear, what not to wear...Finally a book is available that explains the inner workings of the IEA. Ms. Garner draws from her years of IEA stewarding to provide the information new IEA members need in clear, concise language that any non-horse parent can understand.
Praise for "A Parent's Guide to the Interscholastic Equestrian Association":
This book will become the parent's guide to everything that is wonderful about the IEA. The author has covered all of the required information in a very parent-friendly way, I recommend riders read this as well--it should become a 'must read' for all IEA members." --Simon Towns, IEA Zone 4 Administrator
"Love this book! A concise and easy-to-understand guide, it's everything you and your rider need to know for a fun and successful IEA experience. I wish I had this book years ago when my daughter was beginning her IEA journey!” -Wendy Benevides, IEA Parent.
